The Final Count Down
Hey Y’all!
This week marks the beginning of my last transfer, and thus my final six weeks in the mission field… but enough about that!
We got transfer news last night and I will get to stay here in Fort Mill for my last transfer which is going to be amazing! I’m so greatful that I get to stay. My companion has been in this same stake for over a year now, but he is finally getting moved out, which is a little bittersweet for him. My new companion is going to be fresh out of the MTC, so I haven’t met him yet! Transfers will happen on Thursday and I will meet him then. Training is usually a two transfer thing, so I guess he will get to have two trainers!
As for the week (or two) since I last wrote; a lot has been happening! We have been having a ton of lessons with the young couple we are teaching and they are progressing so well! We found out that most of the ward had no idea that they weren’t members of the church yet! We always stay really busy out here, and I’ve started to measure my personal success on how sweaty I am at the end of the day, haha. We have had a pretty stellar district this last transfer, but unfortunately most of them are getting moved! I’m going to miss them all so much! I feel like so many blessings have come our way these last few weeks, and it is really humbling to see how much the Lord cares for us. Most of the miracles take the form of an unexpected water bottle or place to cool off while we’re out in the heat, which sounds small, but means a lot!
I really love my mission and it’s sad to think that it’s coming to a close, but I am so excited to give this last transfer everything I’ve got!
I love you all!
Until next week,
Elder Klingler

1. Our wacky and amazing district
2. The church owns a farm out here, so we went to take pictures after church.
3. We have some amazing members out here in Fort Mill. They join us for almost every lesson we have!
4. Today we heard about a strawberry farm that has their own fresh strawberry icecream so we swung by to try it. So good!
