Prayers Answered!

Hey Everyone!

This week was so amazing! These last few weeks have been full of hard work. The work here has really slowed down lately, and we have really had to fall on some desperate measures. We have been praying pretty hard for the last couple weeks as a companionship for us to meet someone new to teach, but with little success. We have even resorted to knocking doors (tracting) which is a serious last resort in our mission.

We have wanted a new person to teach so bad that we got extra obedient, started working extra diligently, and studying extra hard. This went on for over a week and while we weren’t getting any results, we really didn’t have a problem keeping spirits high.

At District Council on Wednesday this week we got an email telling us that we had received a referral! It ended up being for a man named Chris, who is now one of my most favorite people I’ve gotten to teach. He and his girlfriend are so invested already. They even came to church this Sunday! They were pretty nervous about it, but ended up leaving after church with big smiles on their faces.

I cannot explain how great it feels to know that the Lord trusts us enough to let us guide these incredible young people back to him. They are so amazing, and well worth the work that we put in these last few weeks!

I know that prayer works, and that God will always answer our prayers according to our faith. Answers pertaining to eternity are well worth the wait!

I love you all and hope, as always, that you have a great week!

Until next week,
Elder Klingler

2. We found a really neat park as well
3-4. My DL and I biked all over the place on exchanges and I finally
learned how to do a wheelie!
