Why Me Lord = Dead End
I will keep this post short.
The highlight of my week was probably this Saturday (as some of you may have noticed) when I got access to Facebook on my tablet. We are allowed to use it and messenger only to communicate with people out here in the Carolinas and for proselyting out here. You might have noticed my #BookofMormonChallenge post on Saturday which is something that my whole zone all did and we it spreading from coast to coast and even reached Italy!
This week flew by for me personally. I had to bike one of the days this week and we biked over 16 miles in one direction to go to an appointment and by the time it was over it was super dark outside; oh and the roads out here don’t have sidewalks or even a shoulder to bike on so we had cars whizzing past at over 50 miles per hour. Luckily the person we were teaching offered to drive us home afterward so we didn’t have to do that same ride in the dark.
Other than that I don’t know much else to share, this week went by really fast for me. This week we have had the craziest weather. Earlier in the week it hit 100 degrees and now it’s closer to 70 each day and super rainy and humid haha.
We had a member with us and he showed us his favorite street sign down in Chester. He took us to see it and it was a street called “Why Me Lord” and not 30 feet down the road sits a big ‘ol “Road Ends” sign. Truly a hilarious metaphor about how if we always blame everything on God it will get us no where. The guy that showed it to us was very proud. I added a picture of it, but I’m not sure how great the quality is.
I hope y’all are having a good week!
Until next time,
Elder Klingler
