A Whole New World

We had a miracle this week where we knocked on a door and an older lady, Nydia, came out and told us we would have to come back later because her daughter, Yaya, and daughter's boyfriend, Anthony, were busy cleaning. We gave her a card with our number on it and told her to give us a call later. We walked off toward our car and right as we were about to get in it and drive away, My companion and I got distracted by a toy in the road. After examining the toy for about a minute we heard someone yelling. We turned around to see Yaya calling to us from her front porch asking us to come back. We went back and they welcomed us in and we taught them for almost an hour. When we were about to leave Yaya told us that she had been praying for God to send her someone since their family is going through rough times. She said that we were the answers to her prayers, and I know that the toy in the road wasnt there by accident. We should have been a mile down the road by the time she came outside but God knew we had to meet with them. Yaya and Anthony have two sweet little boys too and I cant wait to teach them again on Wednesday.

This week has been full of experiences like that, and my faith has grown exponentially since I got here. 

I promise all of you, if you just take a minute each evening and ask yourself, "how have I seen the had of God in my life today?" you will quickly realize that he is watching over us all.
